Fun activities to do with your Kids During Summer
It is that time of the year again where we start thinking about how to keep the kids busy and engaged ..Yes it is the summer time where we hear the dreaded words “ I am getting bored “.
Looking for outdoor activities or nurseries in Dubai hills don’t worry, Kids Kingdom have you covered with a handful list of fun activities to keep your little ones entertained all summer along.
Plan generally one activity a day and communicate with the kids by dropping hints on what is coming up the next day, so they are looking forward for everyday activities.
- Set up a car wash activity with shaving cream and water. You can bring all hot wheels, trucks, bikes all together and use the everyday shaving cream to clean. The kids enjoy making tracks with their vehicles in the shaving cream and then cleaning all over again…
- Messy play with cloud dough. A two ingredient playdough (1 cup baby oil and 8 cup flour) to keep your little ones busy getting their hands messy. It is great sensorial activity.
- Make melted artwork with crayon, cookie sheet and wax paper. It gets hot and sunny in Dubai. This activity can be carried out perfectly during the summertime. Place a wax paper in the cookie sheet and leave it under the sun till it is got to touch. Start drawing with the crayons and our little ones will be amazed to see how the crayons melt and glide on the wax paper. It is a fun, inexpensive, easy activity for a summer day.
- Make a banana ice cream at home, using just one ingredient that is banana..Cut a ripe/firm banana into disks and freeze them. Once completely frozen blend them. The banana will first turn into a cookie dough form and if you continue blending for another couple of minutes it turns into a soft serve ice-cream. And who does not love an ice cream that is nutritious, and homemade.
- Cereal Box self-portrait. Use empty cereal box and paint them white. Keep different acrylic paints and brushes ready and ask your littles ones to draw portraits of themselves and see the amazing artwork that they create.
