Foundation

The children are registered in the KHDA portal for FS1 or FS2.

Activities are structured to develop the interest of the children in the learning theme. Open-ended questions and discussions to enhance a child’s understanding and imagination. Tracing to independent writing skills are developed through various mark making activities. In math the children learn about number recognition, quantity association and patterns. Literacy skills are developed through “Phonics program” where the alphabet sounds are introduced followed by blending and segmenting in the later stage. The students are given exposure to age-appropriate reading materials to develop a liking and habit of reading.

A variety of art resources and natural materials are being introduced to enhance creativity and freedom of art expression. School readiness and independence is an integral part of our FS program where children are encouraged to develop self help skills.
